Starting at the foundation of Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training

Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training is like building a house: one should start at the foundation. The ideal situation is if the Dog-K9 Canine can be presented for socialization training between the ages of 6 and 16 weeks. It however happens quite often that people want Braveheart to socialize Dog-K9 Canines that are already older than the maximum of 16 weeks. In such cases, Braveheart concentrates on doing Basic Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training – this is only possible if the Dog-K9 Canine is less than 24 weeks old.

Key aspects of presenting basic Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training

During the basic Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training period, Braveheart concentrates especially on the following aspects:

  • Basic Obedience – you must be able to exercise full control over the Dog-K9 Canine.
  • Distance Control – so that you can control the Dog-K9 Canine and give instructions from a distance

In practice, the natural process of socialization that did not happen is compensated for by teaching the Dog-K9 Canine basic obedience.

Our location for Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training

Kenneling and time factor during basic Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training

Kenneling and food during basic Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training by Braveheart are included in the training fee; which also creates the ideal opportunity to have your Dog-K9 Canine trained in basic obedience when you go on holiday, saving you kenneling fees for the training period – the Dog-K9 Canine can also be kenneled for a further period if arranged beforehand.

Basic Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training takes approximately 4 weeks*.

*NB: Training is proficiency based (until the Dog-K9 Canine has been trained to the level of its natural ability), NOT for a predetermined period of time.

Coaching the “family” of the Dog-K9 Canine after its basic Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training

You and your family’s coaching takes place when you fetch the Dog-K9 Canine after completion of its training, and takes approximately 1 hour. This comprises firstly theoretical training in our lecture room – to enable you to give scientifically sound instructions. We also answer any questions you may have.

Next, we give you practical training at our outdoor training facility to enable you to control your Dog-K9 Canine in real life situations, and to enable you to do everything with the Dog-K9 Canine that we have taught it. On completion, you will be able to do continuous training with your Dog-K9 Canine at home.

A FREE follow-up training session is presented approximately 14 days after the Dog-K9 Canine has been fetched.
